A perimenopause symptom tracker sold on Etsy as part of the Daily Habit Kit. Installable PWA + printable companion + a 30-day post-launch SEO plan.

The problem
Perimenopause is messy — hot flashes, sleep that comes and goes, brain fog, mood swings, irregular cycles. The mainstream period-tracking apps were built for fertility and contraception, not for a body that's winding down instead of cycling predictably.
And most wellness-tracking products live behind monthly subscriptions, push notifications, and ad-funded data harvesting. None of that fits the user. The audience wanted something private, one-time, and built around the symptoms they actually experience.
Last problem: the audience reads printables and journals. A pure app misses them. A pure printable doesn't aggregate symptoms. The product had to be both.
The approach
Peri Tracker ships as a single-file installable PWA alongside a printable companion PDF, packaged as one Etsy listing. The PWA works offline, installs to the home screen on iOS and Android, and stores everything locally — no account, no server, no data leaves the phone.
The printable runs in parallel for users who think on paper: weekly logs, a symptom legend, and a doctor-prep page that summarizes the last 90 days. Same product, two surfaces, one purchase.
If you're going to sell wellness software to a stranger on Etsy, it has to feel finished, private, and one-time. No 'create an account.' No 'we'll text you.' Just open it and go.David Wilson · Brand Forge
The pre-launch pack covered four things most one-person products skip:
A 120/140-char title built for menopause-tracker search, 13 fully-used tags, and a tightened description targeting buyer intent — not a clever brand line. Listing was optimized for discoverability the day it went live.
One .html file with inline CSS + JS + service worker. Buyers download, open, install. No CDN, no hosting cost, no broken-link risk three years from now. The simplest stack that ships.
Most Etsy wellness products are one or the other. This bundle is both, with a printable that lives alongside the app — same visual system, same content model. Two formats, one price.
Brand Forge's listings don't just ship — they get reviewed at day 3, day 7, day 14, and day 30 with concrete things to test (title swaps, tag rotations, cover image A/B).
The outcome
The listing went live on May 10, 2026 at dailyhabitkit.etsy.com. The full launch pack — listing copy, 13-tag SEO set, 8-image gallery, Pinterest content pack, post-launch optimization plan — all shipped together.
The PWA installs cleanly on iPhone and Android. No account required, no analytics phoning home, no recurring charge. Buy once, use forever.
It's also the proof for a thesis: the same workflow Brand Forge runs for client apps — design system, real PWA build, packaging, launch plan — works for our own consumer products. Peri Tracker is what the apps pillar looks like turned on the studio itself.
